CURRENT VACANCIESCotswold Archaeology (CA) is one of the ten largest archaeological companies in Britain. We operate from a base at Kemble, near Cirencester, in Gloucestershire. Established in 1989, CA has experienced marked year-on-year expansion and has an annual turnover in excess of £3 Million and a staff of over 60. This is large enough for us to be able to resource major, interesting, projects, but not so large that the company becomes impersonal or loses a sense of common purpose. We are a Registered Archaeological Organisation with the Institute of Field Archaeologists. We complete in excess of 200 projects per year, which range from desk-based assessments, watching briefs, and evaluations through to major excavations. The majority of our projects are located in Central-Southern England and South Wales, although we have worked in virtually all parts of England and Wales. CA has a commitment to high quality fieldwork and reporting, and is particularly proud of its record of publication. We have produced several substantial monographs on various aspects of the archaeology of Cirencester and the Cotswolds, and over 100 reports and articles in established national and regional academic journals.
